09 · How Nitente sounds

Voice and tone

The voice is always the same. The tone adjusts to the reader's situation.

Voice

We use the informal “you”

Neutral Latin American Spanish, with “tú” (the informal “you”). No voseo, no strong regionalisms and no anglicisms when a clear word exists.

One idea per sentence

Sentences of up to 20 words. First what happened, then what to do.

Active voice

“We saved your change”, not “the change has been saved”. Concrete verbs, no filler.

Tone tester

Move the control. Nitente moves between “formal” and “warm”, and avoids the extremes.
