15 · White, black and light

Color

Nitente has no color. It has light. Everything that is not white or black belongs to the products.

The family rule

Nitente uses only white and black. Each product has its own color (Ember, Solar, garnet). Nitente never takes a product color, and a product never uses pure black and white as if it were its own.

HEX is the source of truth. CMYK is an approximation without an ICC profile: until a proof is printed, it is not an approved value. No Pantone is assigned without comparing against the physical swatch book.

The Reflect gradient

In the app icon, the background runs from #2F3034 at the top to #060607 at the bottom, with a white glow at 22% in the center and a rim with a reflection. Darker than this, the symbol gains contrast; lighter, it loses it.

Contrast

Combinations are checked against WCAG 2.2: 4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text and interface components.
